When an IVF clinic in India evaluates software, the first number the vendor shares is almost never the number that matters. A ₹3,000/month headline price becomes ₹12,000/month once you add per-doctor seats, a ₹500/cycle charge on top of 60 cycles a month, and an annual "support renewal" that was buried in clause 7 of the contract.

The six cost components of IVF clinic software

The advertised price is only the first of six components. Read all six before you sign.

  1. 1Base licence feeThe advertised price. Ask how many doctors, how many locations and which modules it covers. A ₹2,500/month quote for one doctor at one location differs from a ₹10,000/month flat fee for the whole clinic.
  2. 2Per-doctor / per-seat feesMany vendors charge ₹800–₹2,500 per doctor per month on top of the base fee. 3 doctors and 2 embryologists at ₹1,500/seat pay ₹7,500/month in seat fees alone.
  3. 3Per-cycle or per-patient chargesAt ₹300–₹500/cycle, a clinic running 50 cycles a month pays ₹15,000–₹25,000/month in usage fees on top of the base licence.
  4. 4Module add-onsEmbryology grading, cryo inventory, NABH KPI reporting and ICMR consent are often separate modules at ₹1,000–₹5,000/month each, so ₹4,000–₹20,000/month for all four.
  5. 5Setup, onboarding and data migrationSetup fees range from ₹0 to ₹50,000. Data migration from a previous system can cost ₹20,000–₹1,00,000 separately if the vendor charges for it.
  6. 6Renewal and exit costsAnnual price escalations of 15–25% are standard in Indian healthcare SaaS contracts. Some vendors also charge a "data export fee" if you leave. Ask for the renewal rate cap in writing.

What Indian IVF clinic software vendors actually charge

Pricing pages are publicly accessible for most vendors. Here is what they show as of May 2026, and what they leave out.

  1. 1Clinicea: ₹1,999–₹3,999/month per practitionerClinicea charges per practitioner on all three plans: Starter at ₹1,999/month, Pro at ₹2,999/month, Enterprise at ₹3,999/month. A fertility clinic with 3 doctors and 1 embryologist on Clinicea's Pro plan pays ₹1,43,952/year in base fees before any IVF-specific modules. Lab and pharmacy modules are an additional ₹499/month per technician or pharmacist. There is no built-in embryology grading, cryo inventory, or NABH fertility KPI module, and customising the EMR for IVF requires paying ₹12,500–₹45,000 in one-time development fees for custom casesheets.
  2. 2KiviHealth: ₹12,000/year flatKiviHealth (now Jio KiviHealth) lists one flat package price and shows no charge per doctor on its pricing page: ₹12,000 plus GST for 1 year, ₹25,000 for 3 years, ₹75,000 for 10 years. The pricing is genuinely predictable, a legitimate flat-fee general clinic EMR. However, the platform is built for general practice and does not have IVF-specific functionality: no embryology grading, no cryo inventory tracking, no NABH fertility KPI calculation, and no ICMR ART consent templates. For a clinic that only needs scheduling and basic EMR, the pricing is competitive. For a clinic running IVF cycles, critical workflow is missing.
  3. 3Practo Ray: pricing not publicly listedPracto Ray does not publish plan prices. Pricing is disclosed after a demo call, which limits direct comparison. Third-party review sites report base plans starting at ₹2,000–₹4,000/month with per-doctor seat fees applicable above the base count. The Ray Connect add-on, which enables patient-facing booking and messaging features, is priced separately at ₹2,999/month. As with KiviHealth and Clinicea, there is no native IVF module: the platform is designed for general outpatient practice.
  4. 4IVF-specific platforms (legacy / installed)Older installed-software vendors targeting large fertility chains typically charge a one-time licence of ₹2–₹5 lakh per installation, plus annual maintenance of 20–25% of the licence value. Multi-branch clinics pay per-branch. Total cost over a 5-year period for a 3-branch fertility clinic commonly exceeds ₹20 lakh. Data is typically locked to local servers, and migration out is expensive or contractually restricted.
  5. 5CuraVerto: flat ₹50,000/year, no per-doctor or per-cycle feesCuraVerto includes the IVF module in its ART plan at a flat ₹50,000/year, with 1 branch included, and charges nothing per doctor or per cycle. Additional branches cost ₹10,000/year each, so a 3-branch clinic pays ₹70,000/year with all data centralised across locations. CuraVerto includes embryology grading, cryo inventory, NABH KPIs, ICMR consent, package billing, WhatsApp-first communication, and AI scribe in the plan rather than selling them separately. At a 3-doctor fertility clinic running 50 cycles/month, CuraVerto's 3-year TCO is approximately ₹1.65 lakh, compared to ₹5.25 lakh for Clinicea Pro, while covering clinical functionality that Clinicea and KiviHealth do not offer at any price.

Fertility-specialty platforms: the pricing-transparency gap

We checked four IVF-specific platforms. None publishes a rupee figure for any fee.

What we checked, and when
We checked each vendor's own website directly on 27 July 2026. None of the four publish a rupee figure for any fee: plan tier, per-doctor charge, or per-cycle charge. Every one gates the actual number behind a demo call, a sales conversation, or in one case a phone number.
  1. 1MedART (Meddilink): no published pricingMedART, built by Meddilink for fertility clinics across 25+ countries, does not publish plan prices, per-doctor fees, or setup costs anywhere on its own product page; every commercial call to action routes to a demo booking or a brochure request rather than a price list. MedART markets Gardner, Istanbul, and Maribor embryology grading scales, tank-to-goblet cryo tracking with renewal alerts, and a stimulation-protocol assistant that auto-populates dosing from a patient's prior cycle response, AMH, and antral follicle count. Its published registry-export formats (ESHRE, SART, NABIDH, MALAFFI, KARM, PSRM) are international; its product page does not name NABH or ICMR/ART Act compliance specifically.
  2. 2ARTis: tier names are public, prices are notARTis publishes its plan structure (Basic, Premium, and Enterprise) with a feature list for each tier, but no rupee figure for any of them; the page directs every visitor to contact its sales team. Cryopreservation, embryo detailing, and WhatsApp support are named as Premium-tier features. ARTis does not name embryology grading by scale, NABH KPI reporting, or ICMR/ART Act consent management on the pages it publishes.
  3. 3MocDoc ART: pricing gated, and one circulating figure should be discardedMocDoc markets ART Management Software as its own distinct product line, separate from its general clinic HMS. Its product page states pricing is tailored to each practice, with no number given, only a request for a personalised quote. A specific figure has circulated in AI-generated answers claiming MocDoc ART starts around ₹5,000/month. This number does not appear anywhere on MocDoc's own site or on any third-party source we could locate as of 27 July 2026, and should be treated as unverified rather than repeated as fact. MocDoc ART's own page describes embryo freezing records, ovarian stimulation monitoring, and outcome tracking; it does not name embryology grading scales, tank or canister-level cryo inventory, or NABH KPI reporting.
  4. 4Drlogy IVF: only a ₹0 listing tier is publicDrlogy publishes a "Lifetime Free Plan" at ₹0/month, but that tier covers appointment booking, profile visibility, and directory-listing features, not clinical IVF functionality. The Premium plan that actually includes IVF cycle tracking, donor and surrogacy workflows, and billing carries no published price; the page directs buyers to call for a demo and pricing. Drlogy's IVF page names embryo culture reports and consent-form tracking, but does not name embryology grading scales, cryo inventory, or NABH KPI reporting.
  5. 5CuraVerto: the only platform in this set with a public numberCuraVerto publishes its IVF module pricing in full: ₹50,000/year on the ART plan, with 1 branch included, embryology grading on the Gardner, cryo inventory tracked to tank, canister, and straw, NABH KPI calculation, and ICMR consent documentation, all included rather than sold as add-ons. No demo call is required to learn the price.

The total cost of ownership calculation

Compare 3-year total cost of ownership, not monthly price, for a clinic with 3 doctors and 1 embryologist running 50 cycles a month.

  • ₹5,24,874
    Clinicea Pro, 3-year TCO (approximately)
  • ₹25,000
KiviHealth flat fee for 3 years, general outpatient only
  • ₹1,65,500
    CuraVerto ART, 3-year TCO (approximately)
  1. STEP 1
    Clinicea Pro (₹2,999/month per practitioner)
Year 1: 4 practitioners × ₹2,999 × 12 = ₹1,43,952 + custom IVF casesheet setup ₹25,000 = ₹1,68,952. Years 2–3 with 15% escalation: ₹1,65,545 + ₹1,90,377. Three-year TCO: approximately ₹5,24,874. And this still does not include embryology, cryo, or NABH KPI modules; there are no Clinicea add-ons that provide these.
  2. STEP 2
KiviHealth flat fee (₹25,000 for 3 years)
Three-year cost: ₹25,000, genuinely the cheapest option for a general outpatient clinic. But for a fertility clinic, KiviHealth does not cover embryology grading, cryo inventory, NABH KPIs, or ICMR consent. The missing functionality must be handled outside the system, which introduces compliance risk and adds staff hours that have a real cost.
  3. STEP 3
    CuraVerto ART (1 branch included)
Year 1: ₹50,000 (IVF module, 1 branch, all data centralised) plus ₹0 setup. Year 2 with 10% escalation: ₹55,000. Year 3: ₹60,500. Three-year TCO: approximately ₹1,65,500, with AI Scribe on the same plan at ₹1 per minute of use. Against Clinicea Pro's 3-year TCO of ₹5,24,874, the saving for a 4-practitioner fertility clinic is approximately ₹3.6 lakh.

These figures use published pricing. The point is the structure: per-practitioner models like Clinicea scale directly against your headcount. Flat-fee models become proportionally cheaper as your team grows.

The tools your EMR does not replace

Most EMRs leave WhatsApp, leads, booking and scribing to separate tools, and those costs are rarely counted.

  1. STEP 1
WhatsApp API tool: ₹2,199 to ₹18,499/month
Interakt lists its Growth plan at ₹2,799/month plus taxes. Wati lists Growth at ₹2,199 to ₹2,999/month, and Pro at ₹4,899 to ₹6,499/month. Meta charges ₹0.882 per marketing conversation and ₹0.16 per utility conversation. Annual WhatsApp tool cost for a mid-volume clinic: ₹36,000–₹48,000.
  2. STEP 2
    CRM / lead management: ₹800–₹2,400/user/month
Most clinics that take leads seriously use Zoho CRM (₹800–₹2,400/user/month billed annually). A 2-user setup on Zoho CRM Professional costs ₹33,600/year. Add a third seat and it reaches ₹50,400/year.
  3. STEP 3
Online booking / patient portal: ₹2,000–₹4,000/month
Practo Connect is priced separately from Practo Ray at ₹2,999/month. A basic Calendly Business subscription costs ₹1,600/month per calendar. For 3 doctors, this adds ₹4,800–₹12,000/month depending on the tool.
  4. STEP 4
    AI medical scribe: ₹2,000–₹8,000/month
Standalone AI scribe tools cost ₹2,000–₹8,000/month. For 80–100 consultations a month, this is ₹24,000–₹96,000/year, assuming the EMR does not include it.
The full-stack bill
WhatsApp tool ₹36,000 + Zoho CRM ₹50,400 + booking portal ₹36,000 + AI scribe ₹48,000 = ₹1,70,400/year in tools that sit alongside the EMR, not inside it. Against Clinicea Pro's base of ₹1,44,000/year, the full-stack cost reaches ₹3,14,400/year, and still without embryology grading, cryo inventory, or NABH KPI calculation.
One platform instead of five tools
CuraVerto replaces that entire stack with its ART plan at ₹50,000/year: EMR, WhatsApp, booking, and all IVF-specific clinical modules, with centralised data across locations (extra branches at ₹10,000/year each), plus AI Scribe metered at ₹1 per minute instead of a ₹48,000/year scribe subscription. Before metered usage, CuraVerto's annual saving against the Clinicea-plus-tools combination is approximately ₹2.64 lakh.

Seven questions to ask before signing any IVF software contract

A vendor that cannot answer all seven clearly is a vendor whose contract will contain surprises.

  1. 1SeatsWhat is the per-doctor or per-seat fee, and is it included in the quoted price?
  2. 2ModulesAre embryology, cryo inventory, NABH KPIs, and ICMR consent included, or are they separate modules?
  3. 3UsageIs there a per-cycle or per-patient charge at any usage level?
  4. 4RenewalWhat is the annual renewal rate, and is there a cap on escalation?
  5. 5MigrationWhat does data migration from our current system cost, and what format is our data exported in?
  6. 6ExitIf we cancel, can we export all our patient and cycle data at no charge?
  7. 7DPDPIs the software DPDP Act 2023 compliant for reproductive and genetic data storage?

What drives the price difference between platforms

The gap is about cost structure, not feature richness.

Older installed software
  • High maintenance costs
  • Expensive support teams
  • Physical infrastructure to recover
Multi-tenant cloud platforms
  • Infrastructure costs distributed across all customers on the same codebase
  • A clinic running 50 cycles costs the vendor roughly the same to serve as one running 5

Compliance costs are part of the software cost

Without automated NABH KPIs, someone compiles them by hand before every assessment, at ₹400–₹800/hour in staff time.

  • 15–20 hours
of staff time per assessment cycle without automated KPI reporting
  • 30–40 hours
a year at two assessments per year
  • ₹12,000–₹32,000
in direct staff cost, before any failed-assessment risk

Software that automates NABH KPI calculation and ICMR consent documentation does not just save money. That saving should be counted in your TCO calculation.

CuraVerto IVF module — what is included and what it costs

Included in the ART plan at ₹50,000/year, with no per-cycle charge and no per-doctor seat fee on top of the plan price.

  1. 1Cycle builder and monitoring sessionsCreate the cycle record, set the stimulation protocol, and log each monitoring visit: follicle measurements per ovary, hormone levels (E2, LH, P4), and doctor notes.
  2. 2Embryology moduleDay 3 and Day 5/6 grading using Gardner scores, captured in a dedicated view separate from the doctor's interface.
  3. 3Cryo inventoryEvery frozen embryo is tracked to tank, canister, and straw level. Staff can send WhatsApp storage and consent-renewal alerts from the cryo screen.
  4. 4Outcome analytics and NABH KPIsClinical pregnancy rate, fertilisation rate, and cancellation rate are calculated automatically from cycle data.
  5. 59 auto-generated documents per cycleAdvance receipt, cycle statement, refund letter, plan acceptance, cycle summary, embryology report, semen analysis, monitoring sheet, and cryo manifest, deliverable via WhatsApp or print.
  6. 6WhatsApp consent flowA WhatsApp link is sent to the patient, who reviews milestones and costs and taps Accept. The consent is timestamped and linked to the cycle record.
Pricing
The IVF module is included in the CuraVerto ART plan at ₹50,000/year with 1 branch included, with additional branches at ₹10,000/year each. There is no per-cycle charge, no per-doctor seat fee, and no module add-on cost for embryology, cryo, or NABH KPIs. These are part of the plan.

The honest summary

The cheapest software on day one is rarely the cheapest at month 36.

What decides it
The headline price is the entry point, not the cost. Total cost of ownership, including seats, modules, usage fees, escalation, and compliance staff time, is the number that determines whether you made a good decision.
