Search for doctor commission tracking software and two completely different products turn up: platforms that take a cut of what your clinic earns, and payroll tools that calculate what your clinic owes its own doctors. CuraVerto is unambiguously the second kind and never the first.

Two things called ‘doctor commission’ in clinic software, and why they are opposites

One is what a vendor charges the clinic. The other is what the clinic owes its own doctors.

What a vendor charges the clinic
  • A percentage of consultation revenue
  • A per-appointment fee
  • CuraVerto charges a flat annual fee per plan, with no commission and no per-doctor fee
What the clinic owes its doctors
  • The associate physician on a percentage split
  • The visiting consultant paid per consultation
  • The specialist on a procedure-based incentive

The software bill does not move whether the clinic books 200 appointments a month or 2,000.

How CuraVerto's doctor commission tracking actually works

Each doctor profile carries its own commission model and value, not one clinic-wide rule.

  1. STEP 1
    Percentage model
A percentage of the revenue a doctor generates, tracked consultation by consultation.
  2. STEP 2
    Fixed per-visit model
A flat rupee amount per consultation, whatever it was billed at.
  3. STEP 3
    Set per doctor
A senior consultant and a visiting doctor can run different models in one account.
  4. STEP 4
    Real-time accrual
Commission accrues as payments are recorded, not rebuilt at month-end.

From consultation to payout: the ledger

Every billed visit writes to a ledger against the treating doctor, and the payout view shows what the clinic still owes.

Payouts are a deliberate action
Access to recording payouts is restricted to the finance-manager, admin and owner roles, and every payout write is captured in CuraVerto's audit log alongside who made the change and when.

Why internal tracking still matters, even with zero platform commission

The monthly reconciliation exists whatever the software costs, and doing it by hand is where disputes start.

The same billing event that generates a GST-compliant invoice for the patient also updates the commission ledger for the treating doctor, so there is one number behind both, not two competing counts.

GST and fiscal-year reporting stay consistent

Commission is an internal matter between clinic and doctor, separate from the GST invoice raised to the patient.

The payout ledger reads its revenue figures from the same billed amounts as the clinic's own GST records for that fiscal year, not a second, separately maintained figure.
